Kiril is ordering me to surrender as his men board the ship. Every time I try to surrender, his soldiers order me to drop my weapons. I do this -- going so far as to remove even my armor and any ammo I have on me -- but it doesn't matter. They act as if I'm aiming a rifle at them and open fire.

I've even tried removing every weapon, armor piece and bullet I have on me BEFORE going to meet them. It doesn't make a difference. They behave as if I'm threatening them, which is a little ironic considering I'm not holding a weapon and they are.

I've attempted this part numerous times and no matter what I do, I get attacked. The crazy thing is they act as if I'm openly attacking them!

Is there no way to do this peacefully? Am I supposed to fight back no matter what? If not, how do I get the game to respond correctly?

The game may be waiting for you to press the key to holster your weapon. If you simply remove your weapon from the inventory, that may not be what the programmed script expects of you. In my playthrough, I approached the mercenaries with my weapon drawn, received a warning, then holstered it and remained perfectly still until it was time to talk to Kiril.

Yup, that was it. I thought not being armed or tossing down weapons would work, but apparently they expect you to holster instead.

Thanks! :)
