I've been interested in this game for a while and I have it on my Steam wishlist waiting for a sale. Now that it has come to GOG it seems to be called the 'Master Edition' yet in the description it doesn't really mention any improvement or difference. Same game or any additional content?

Edit: Perhaps the bonus soundtrack, avatars, wallpaper etc make this the 'Master Edition' while the actual game itself is the same as the Steam version...?

This question / problem has been solved by triockimage
“This Master Edition was made possible thanks to the many players who were incredible enough to report their criticisms over the past four months. We have fixed hundreds of bugs, improved performance ten-fold, polished and improved the use of music, sound effects and lighting, redesigned combat after extensive feedback, and spent weeks on choreography polish. This is quite simply the definitive version of CONSORTIUM.”

I see, so this is basically the most recently patched version. Steam is apparently going to get this upgraded patch a bit later today too.
