First I'd like to say it's an awesome game, I've spent hours playing this on a friend's pc back then...
Now the problem I have is that the sound quality is terrible... I mean, ok I know it's an 1996 DOS oldy, but is there a way to sensibly ameliorate the overall sound ? Do I have to tweak DOSBOX or else ?!

Well you could certainly play around in the dosbox conf files for the game, try some different sound settings and the like. Also if your on window xp you could try turning off sound hardware acceleration.

Thanks for the tip ! By the way, could I ask you how you managed your sound config, or is it only me that have that kind of problem ?

Don't actually own this game from gog, but if its a dosbox based game the conf file will be similar to alot of other dosbox based games.
