The screen is offset to the top left by about a quarter inch. There is important stuff that should be appearing above the menu that I cannot see. Anyone else have this problem or know how to resolve it? I just bought the game remembering how much I loved it as a kid, and am sad I can't play it now.

Hi, sorry to hear that you got problem with Conquest.
I got some hints for you:
- if you're using LCD monitor, try to 'Adjust settings' - sometimes different screen resolutions aren't properly preconfigured in monitor settings, therefore adjusting it manually may fix that problem
- it that doesn't help, try to change graphic mode, go to Start Menu -> GOG.com -> Conquest... -> "Graphic mode setup" and pick from the list different rendering mode.
- if that doesn't help either, please contact our Support team.
