Not sure if this has been posted, but if you like me can´t stand the horribly low resolution in Commandos 2 you might want to check out this little "hack": http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16028
The first one uses the Uniws-tool so you wont have to hex-edit the .exe yourself.
Also, the guide says you need a no-cd. That isn´t needed in this case since the gog exe is already "unpacked".
Tried this yesterday and it seemed to work just fine.

Thank you.
Sounds like a good application to be kept in back pocket in case I need widescreen support for a game. :)
Know any other GoG games that might work with it, and where to find info how to modify .ini for each game?
Does anyone tried to change resolution in C3? I read some forums, but I'm not able to do it. Any sugestions?
Thanx!
Unfortunately it's not working for me, I get strange artifacts in the upper right and lower left corner. :/
Any other solutions for making the game wider?
Well I downloaded the uniws but the game isn't listed. Which one did you guys use?

I like this site a lot, and their philosophy, and have bought multiple games, but I'm starting to feel like the engineers should also add in the resolution hacks and mods. With every game I've bought from here I end up downloading unofficial patches and applying resolution mods to make it work, and I don't feel I should have to do that after paying for the package.

Anyway, I'm evidently bitching and don't want to do that. How do you make this one work with a reasonable resolution?
