What was it?
Probably how to distract enemies.
yeah i still cant figure it out. I just ran the thief into the building and tied up the guard.
Based upon Commandos 2:
You can use wine and cigarettes to distract enemies.
Throw them in their line of sight and they walk straight towards it, not looking around.
When they're there they wait a few seconds, all in all enough time to kill them.
If they pick up the cigarettes they stop their rounds from time to time to smoke, meaning you might be able to pass them.
When they drink wine they get intoxicated, not paying much attention.
The green beret's radio can also lure enemies.
The thief can use the dog to have it barking at guards distracting them for a while.
Natasha and the spy can talk to to enemies.
Wine and meat mix nicely with sleeping pills.
Guards and dogs fall asleep when consuming them.
Running around in the vicinity makes noice attracting enemies.
In buildings that's useful as the spy can easily hide somewhere.
You leave footprints on dirt and snow which can also attract enemies.
Lure 1 out of sight of the rest while the green beret is digged in.

I was talking about commandos 3, but that will help with the 2 one.
Taken from edios forums
"To Distract an enemy with the Spy, you have to select the Spy and then right-click on what I think is called the Action button on his interface. This is the same button that will show whether or not he is wearing an enemy uniform or not (you may see a coat hanger on this button). Just right-click on it and the other available options (including Distract) will appear and you can click on it. This works the same was as how you choose a weapon. If you right-click on the weapon button then you can select between the Fist and the Syringe. Sorry if this is vague but the manual doesn't seem to give an "official" name for what the button is. Once you have Distracted an enemy, you may be able to give them additional orders. To do this, click on the Distract button again and now you can click on an area in the game window and the enemy soldier will look where you click"
I did that but the "distract" option doesnt appear.
Have you tried CTRL + Click ?
Or keeping the right click down for a second or two untill the option pops up ?
