Fix for Windows 11.

BEL

Error reads “Direct X 5 Not Found”. To fix, go into Windows file. Locate “comandos” run file and duplicate it. Rename this duplicated file to “commandos”. Right click on this renamed new file to get “Properties” then “Compatibility” then switch to “XP Service Pack 3”.
Reopen GOG. Right click on game thumbnail and click “Manage Installation” then “Configure” then “Features” then “Add Another Executable”. When searching, click on your new “commandos” file from earlier. Click to make it the default executable.

To fix, go to Windows file. Locate “coman_mp” run file and duplicate it. Rename it to whatever. Right click on this new file to “Properties” then “Compatibility” then “XP Service Pack 3”.

I have been seeking for fix for long and you come up with a simple solution.
It's so great to play Commanddos like it was on its release!
Thank you

Hello folks,

This reply it's only about: "Commandos - Beyond the Call of Duty"

I opened the properties of the file: coman_mp.exe, on the compatibility tab, i clicked on "change settings for all users", and i was successful making the configuration “Compatibility - XP Service Pack 3” without needing to create a copy of the file nor make an extra configuration on GOG Galaxy, i believe it's a little bit simpler so i posted here.
