Does the Comm2 GOG offer resolution for 1920x1080? Thanks. I really love this game and currently have the Steam version but love it enough to buy it here if higher resolution options are available.

Hi there! There is no 1920x1080 in Commandos 2, because this resolution wasn't a standard when the game came out, but you can check out this site. There are some patches there to play Commandos 2 missions in Commandos 3 with 1920x1080 resolution, and GoG sales C2&C3 as a bundle so you could try that. Here's the site.

According to the information on this site, changing the resolution to 1920x1080 is kind of problematic - resulting in smearing/tearing graphics.

Oh okay. I was hoping GOG would have tweaked it somehow. Thank you both for the quick reply and helpful links. I may just pick it up here anyway because GOG fixed it to run properly with Win 7. :)

The smearing occurs because of the fact that some of the maps aren't big enough to fill out the whole screen at the smallest zoom. So the area outside of the actual map smears and glitches, but it doesn't affect the gameplay or anything.

Oh and there is actually a simple patch that sets the resolution to 1080p.
