Hi,
I can't save video settings. After restarting the game all settings are default. Also I can't save the game. After restarting the game there are no saves in "Load Game".
How to solve the problem?

For me it was a problem, but I use Russian version of Windows. Russian characters in path to "My Documents" directory causes the same trouble that you describe.

I edit registry entries just before running "Commandos" to change path to "My Documents" directory and deceive the game about its real location. So, game successfully locates directory which I point it and saves its data there.
