Hi, I love the immersive atmosphere of the game in VR. Bravo!

My problem is that my character seems 10 feet tall. I have to look down to see the menus and can barely see the buttons below my backpack - see attached picture. When I go into the intro cottage, I'm much taller than the door, and my head is above the timber beams - second attached picture.

Down inside the grate, I clip above the ceiling, and can see off into other rooms.

Is there a way to adjust my "height" in VR?

I'm using an HP Reverb G2 in Windows 10. While I purchased the game via GOG, it looks like it's launching SteamVR / WMR via Steam.

Thanks,
-Jeff

Greetings!

We apologize for the inconvenience but would love to assist in getting you back to exploring. We have seen mixed results while using SteamVR and WMR combined on GOG so we would like to recommend you try using only Windows Mixed Reality as your active OpenXR runtime(since native to your headset) as referenced in this image and re-centering your view before running the application. Feel free to let us know how it goes and if that helped.

Holy cow, is this the Ken Williams?!

Umm, where did the rest of my post go?! Anyway, I was going on about how much joy the Space Quest / Kings Quest games brought to my youth. Thank you so much!

Also, I got the height issue sorted. The youtube video (youtu dot be slash uF8IyVbPsIM?t=65) (I can't post links) shows the solution -- under SteamVR menu, Developer, Developer Settings, Quick Calibrate. Set your headset on the ground, and voila, it knows the right height.

Anyway, thanks so much, and onward into the cave!

Best,
-Jeff
