It is just me or there is still no Chapter 3 implemented?
I really do enjoy this game- but some of the quests are still broken and there I have found no information about the coming upgrades at all.
Anyone have any source which is newer than the last year q2 when it was presented the Chapter 3-4 release until end of 22?
Thank You!

Chapters:

Chapter 1 - you find the machine and depart for the Habitat; the chapter ends when you enter the Factory.
Chapter 2 - you reach the Habitat and offer the machine to one of the faction leaders; the chapter ends when you enter the ECLSS.
Chapter 3 - you assemble the machine; the chapter ends when the machine is ready to be delivered
Chapter 4 - the delivery and all possible alternatives

You're currently in Chapter 3 - you talked to the cyborg monks about what's needed and went to the newly released mutant town to get the fuel cell. Next step - Hydroponics Red Zone.

What's left to do:

- Hydroponics, Yellow and Red Zones (simulated Proxima environments).
- Mission Control lower levels (that you couldn't explore before). There are two ways in, one's the eye you stole from the Church's vault, the other involves baiting a giant worm known as Ol' Bub as in Beelzebub.
- The Ship's Bridge
- The Endgame

Hydroponics and Mission Control are easy to do as we'll be expanding the existing locations. The Bridge is small by definition, so the hard part is behind us now. Once these locations are done, the level design (a major chunk of work) will be finally done as well and we'll be able to fully focus on the endgame events.

Current release estimate - July 2023

Broken quests - there shouldn't be any but there are quests that can't be completed yet as they require locations that haven't been implemented yet. If you can't complete a quest taking place in one of the released locations, let us know.

Thank you for the answer!

Now i have some quests like back to Nico and back to Abraham but none of them willing to say anything.

The other things i gonna check - and keep up the good work! The game is great!

MOD

Actually i can not go into chapter 3. The quest marker saying about most of the quest will be available at Chapter 3.

Having difficulties posting for some reasons. It says wait, processing and doesn't go anywhere, so apologies for the delay.

Nico and Abraham:

Abraham won't deal with someone like Nico until the circumstances (i.e. the endgame events) force him to. Desperate times call for desperate measures and all that. You'd have to be allied with the Church to trigger it.

Quest markers:

That's just an old tag that hasn't been updated yet. If you can go to the ECLSS and the mutant town (to unlock it, talk to the cyborg monks, then return to the Armory - you can stop at the Pit to try the new content, different for each leader - and talk to the party member given to you by the faction you aligned with), then you're in Chapter 3.

OL' Bub,
I have the eye from the tomb. Can you still get OL' Bubs eye also. Also the last patch was awesome. Just wanted to pass along my condolences on the passing of one of your developers.
Thank you. Yes, you will be able to do both (use the eye and fight Ol' Bub).

Glad you liked the last update.
Wait a sec. Now You telling me that after i have spoken with the monks AND have got the eye from the church AND have got the fuel cell from the heart i should have pass the armory retinal scan? Because when i trying it says "there is nothing you can do here"
Not yet. Next update - Hydroponics Yellow and Red zone, the one after - Mission Control lower levels. That's when youll be able to use the eye or play with ol' Bub.

The forum software behaves this way if your post syntax is invalid, instead of giving an error message. You'll never know if it's a network error or an unbalanced tag. It's pretty stupid [that way. Many long-time users of the forum use e.g. Barefoot Essentials (I think) to correct this (it shows unclosed tags, at least).

Also, most devs get orange text. If you are the game's dev, perhaps you should contact gog about this.
