My main problem with Age of Decadence trying to orient myself as I moved around the towns. The player didn't show on the maps, and the action screens didn't have a direction marked (north/south), so I spent a lot of time wandering around trying to figure out where I was. Is this game like that? Thanks for any help.

It's similar in a sense that there's no minimap, but the camera is no longer rotatable (fixed viewpoint), so hopefully it will make things a bit easier.

I'd suggest to try the combat demo to see if you can navigate. Keep in mind that it hasn't been updated since we launched (so it doesn't have many system improvements including easy mode) and it's much harder in general. Still, it will give you a good idea of what the game is like.

Thanks for the reply. I do have the demo, which is when I discovered it was the made by the AoD folks. It does seem a littel better, it looks like a good game.
