After three or four Founding Fathers are in my Congress, the game does not allow me to choose the other ones.

Seeing you are both from Spain (¡hola!), are you playing a Spanish translation of the game? I used to have this bug many, many years ago, when I played a copy of the game in Spanish. Now I play in English, since localizations in other languages cause a lot of trouble (some Indians not appearing in the America map, crashes when contacting another European nation).

Not that I can assure this is the reason (I can't imagine the exact cause), just that translations cause several problems. The game was not programmed with localization in mind. Apparently the French version was even worse.

I play spanish game too, and i think i fix some bugs.

- Now i can learn from a fisherman in a school
- Fisherman name bug when you live with indians is solved
- Founder father bug is solved (i think)
- Crash bug when u contact european nations is solved
- Aztecs and Iroquois bug is solved (they doesn't exist when you play in America)

Just editing NAMES.TXT and GAME.TXT files and chanching a few things. I will share the file, better like this is less complicated. ONLY FOR SPANISH VERSION

Delete spaces between mega, the point and nz

Remember first to make a copy of your files.

Fixed! to solve the fisherman's issue, search for the names file and the fisherman is only missing a comma! (,)
