Hey community! I was wondering if one can determine where a ship heading to the new world will land - on the Atlantic or the Pacific coast. In my experience it will always (?) return to the point where it left the new world. But I also experienced newly bought ships landing on the Pacific coast or different positions on the Atlantic coast and I don't know why.

Any thoughts on this issue?

Ships return to the point where they left for Europe. For ships acquired in Europe, my impression has always been that they appear in the last place you used to reach Europe (but I might be wrong, I have never done proper testing).

Thanks for the tip. I tried to test this and would say in 95% of the cases this is correct, for the other 5% I could not see a logical pattern. In one case the game even took the last position of an AI (!) ship, before it left to europe.
