Will CMR05 have widescreen support? And how compatible will it be with Vista since it's a older game?

CMR2005 has widescreen support, but you have to use the WIDESCREENDISPLAY switch.
Go to the CMR2005 icon, select properties and add the above line in the "target" field.
I'm running Vista SP1 x64, so unfortunately cannot enable EAX4 nor "Advanced particles" in the game menu. Everything else is fine.

go to the start menu shortcut for the game, right click on it, in the box labeled "target" add WIDESCREENDISPLAY to the end
