CMR2 really defined the rally genre and has, in my opinion, not beaten since. CMR2005 is almost as good as CMR2. The driving model is just a tad less satisfying in my opninion. The damage model is somewhat quirky and not truly convincing, to say the least. Anyway, it's a safe buy if you like rally games and CMR2 is too old/not shiny enough for you or you already played it through like 50 times :)
