Is there any way to play this on GOG? I need to ask here as i didn't found another place for it. Do i have to buy it again to try the Beta?
Beta versions are only available through Steam at this time. Once finished and ready for production we'll roll the full version out to GOG.

I m like you... why i haven't buy on Steam....

This is the only game I've got on GOG and definitely the last one I'll buy if they're like this with the updates.
+1 here

I really like the idea of supporting the no DRM policy of GOG, but if you have no access to beta, and actual updates come days late, I'll really think twice before buying here again...
Update 1.15 Is here guys :)

We submitted the latest 1.15 version with the South China Sea campaign to GOG on the same day we submitted it to Steam.

Not sure how long it takes GOG to update their store with this latest version, but if you don't see it soon we recommend emailing GOG support about it.

For the record, both the GOG and Stream version of our games are 100% DRM free.
We believe in spending our time making great games rather than penalizing our customers with DRM.

Hello KillerfishGames,
I appreciate your response and what you are saying. It's true that with my other games if a version is still in Beta then GOG will refrain for publishing immediately, I think for quality reasons but I don't know.
Whatsoever, I'm looking forward for your awesome improvements, and thank you !

That's extremely important to a great many users.

Many thanks!

I plan to buy Cold Waters during the next GOG sale. It looks good, and I've been looking for a well-done sea game.

(Note: I've never heard of a DRM-free Steam game. By virtue of being on Steam, all of their games have DRM requiring the Steam installation software, a user account and log-in, at least one online authentication, etc. The big difference between Steam and GOG is that with a GOG game, you can download it to a thumb drive and then play it on any device (even those without internet connection), loan it to a friend, etc. The game is literally yours to do with as you please (within the law, of course). You can't do this with Steam games, since the game is tied to the online Steam DRM system and will check for online authentication with Steam during each installation on each device/computer. These differences are literally the reasons why GOG has a fanbase and market in the first place. If Steam was truly DRM free, there would be no need or market for GOG.)

Yes but they are a great difference. On Steam the game is not at you. Yo buy the right of play the game. If Seam dissapear or if your futur OS not supported by Steam, we can't play the game.

For ex old games that run on win XP. Steam are not supported XP so we can't play the old game.

On Gog we buy the game, we can dave the game, we can make allthing with the game.

If GOG dissapear we can play our games allways; not on Steam.
