If the title didn't make this clear enough, there are SPOILERS in this topic. Do not read further if you don't mind knowing about the ending.

According to one review: "The game has two endings, which depend on the trust level you maintain with Cordelia.".

I had a very high trust level with her and in my ending Cordelia helped Erica out of the fire room. The Cain killer storms inside and Erica fights him by clicking on blue circles.

The Cain killer pushes some button, Cordelia pushes Erica out of the room and is trapped. She takes out a gun and shoots the Cain killer and herself.

Erica goes back, talks with her boss and quits the FBI. Later you see her with her father at the cemetery, they talk about getting closer and Erica wanting to help other Psions. She talks in a friendly way with John only for John to fade out and being replaced by a view on his grave.

The last scene is Erica bringing lunch to Sully in the hospital.

Has anyone played with low trust and gotten a different ending? Could you describe what happened?

Regarding choices: I was always trying to get high trust in all conversations and I wonder if any scenes could have played out differently.

In the scene with the weapons dealer, I tried to grab the guy's weapon and called for John who shot the guy. The FBI boss remarks later that the other woman was killed, but if this happened, it wasn't shown. Warning the women leads to game over and I haven't tried the third option.

In the scene as Cordelia in the lake house, I put the rope in front of the bathroom door, talked to the Cain killer until he stumbled and then knocked him out with a gun. I suppose that a low trust would involve the drugs from the car trunk.

I can't think of any other scenes right now with possible different outcomes right now, the game felt very linear most of the time.

The second ending is that McAdams gets killed by Cordelia and then you don't get Erica's line that she is not cut for the job and would rather pursue Rose's career. According to a social media guy for PO Studios, it should be the difference.

Other difference I have spotted is somewhat connected - If Erica doesn't trust to McAdams, she can decide later who will carry a gun.

As for the drug dealer, I am unsure. I said her to run and grabbed the gun. So it made a sense, the informer would be safe. Maybe the scene in the car was meant to be about how Erica felt about the situation in general. Or I also miss something or it's a bug. I don't know.
Thanks, this saves me another play-through for quite small differences.

johkra: Thanks.
You're welcome. :)

I'm doing another run through the series and it's interesting to see how many small crossroads the indie series has.
Kinda sad that John dies in the end... So Erica was talking to his ghost at the end?

She was hallucinating him, actually.
