Hello everyone,

are you an easter egg hunter too, an easter egg "Schattenjäger"?
When you are and you play Cognition, then feel free to add the easter eggs you found here, but please be careful not to double to much that is already written down here.

Things I found so far:

- Erica uses like Gabriel the phrase: "Those two don't work together."
- You can find in the FBI-computer the cases werewolfe, voodoo and vampire.
- The map design looks like from Gabriel Knight, so the intervace on the FBI-computer also does, but more like Gray Matter.
- Erica wants to be like James Bond. Her collegue refers himself as Q.

Interesting observations. I noticed the poster The Scarlet Furies in the first crimescene. It was a reference to the real band where Erica's VO and Robert Holmes are members.
I saw that too, but totally forgot it. Thanks.

I found more in chapter 2:
- Erica refers a pen would like be from the movie "Legally blonde".
- like Gabriel she carries a tape recorder
- you can find names from different financial institutions: Bank of Daedalus (Daedalus Club from Gray Matter), St. George Securities (St. George Bookstore from Gabriel Knight), Mosely Mutual (Detective Mosely from Gabriel Knight) and Pandora Knight Trading (Maybe also a easter egg to GK)
Did you notice the serial numbers on the paint cans in Episode 1? Those letter combinations look familiar....

GK, SQ, KQ, LSL, GM

LOL. Nice. I begin to feel ashamed of my not so keen eye.
Here's another one for you. Not Gabriel Knight, but Sierra related

When you ask Terrence for lockpicks in Episode 1 he tells you to pat your bely while wiggling your fingers and is disappointed that you don't know the Thief Sign if you want lockpicks

This is straight from the Quest for Glory games.
I recognised the codes and the GK but wasn't sure if it ment something. But now, where I read your post in combination, I know what you mean.

Another Phoenix easter egg. You can find The silver Lining Episode 5 on Ericas cell.

And Moebius in 4th episode.
Fans were commenting on how she has the latest episodes and never play them, so when you click on it, she says: "No time. I just keep downloading these games but I never have time to play them." Sounds familiar :D.
It's maybe a big spoiler and also not an easter egg, but like in Gabriel Knight 2, the villian has a homosexual interest in the protagonist.

Imho, it's a big spoiler. For example, if I read easter eggs, I search for references to other shows, not an answer or hint to the plot of actual game. It's like saying "The antagonist is revealed to be the father of protagonist in the end just like in..."

Another possible reference is a student's name, Luke Jensen, in Episode 2.

That's one of the backers. If you watch the credits, a lot of familiar names show up :)

I didn't know. Thanks for pointing it out :).
In first episode, if Erica ask Terence to help with Gallagher for the second time, Terence mentions a game "with the guy from New Orleans and that Japanese chick"
