I recently downloaded Close Combat and am all set to play on my Lenovo laptop, but unfortunately this is how the game appears on screen (see attached screenshot) and so far have tried a bunch of general troubleshooting but nothing has worked. I can still click on things within the game that do not appear in the impacted part of the screen, so i think the game is running correctly. But obviously I can't see 25% of the gaming area so gameplay is not great.

Anyone encounter this problem? Or any ideas on how to fix it? Or fixable at all? Appreciate any guidance you can provide. Thank you.

Do you have display scaling turned on in your system settings? If so, disabling might help. Perhaps not necessarily for the whole system - changing it in compatibility options of the game executable might be just enough. Try both anyway to be sure.

Also, using the help of Dxwnd to run the game is also worth trying. It usually solves most display problems with CC2 should they arise.
