I've bought Close Combat getaway to caen. At first, I wanted to try the BOOTCAMP missions. However, the game crashes every time I want to start one of the five boot camp missions and I get the crash report: "close combat Engine Executable has stopped working". Other missions do work. I don't know if all missions are working, but all other missions I have tried so far.

I have read, about a case where the game was installed in the "C: document" folder and that the BOOTCAMP files should not be moved to another folder. Both actions might cause a game crash. But none of this does apply to my situation. I have never moved the files, and I have an extra game partition on my hard drive. I am using a windows 10 laptop which is better than the minimum requirements. I have tried different compatibility modes, as well as to run the exe as admin, and deactivated the virus scanner. My most desperate try was to activated and deactivated the direct x hardware acceleration since I know that this can work especially with old games like Jagged Alliance but usually, this is connected with game speed problems. Now I am running out of ideas.

Does anybody know something about this Problem and how to fix it? This game seems to be a little bit to complex to start without any tutorial.
