Please add a toggle so we can choose the original colors for him and his hat. Racism has nothing to do with it. If he had originally been orange and then you changed him to black, I would have asked for you to change him back. Whoever heard of an orange dustbunny? "But he resembles a <insert racist thing here>!" So what? Other people chose to make it about race; I didn't. Some of us just prefer continuity and not change for the sake of it. There was no "accidental racism" as you've called it. Social justice warriors just had nothing better to do, at the time. They're trolls pretending to be the good guys.

If you decide against changing him back to the original colors or adding a toggle to allow it, I suppose I'll buy the game when the discount is much larger and then see if I can track down the original GOG release. Watched Markipliers playthrough of this and I have been hunting the special edition of this game with the black chuchel for hours smh. So there isn't a different game the devs just went full retard and changed his color cause racism? Isn't hollywood about adding black people not waiting till the film is done then after a bunch of people watched it recall it and delete the black characters saying "Ah crap homies we accidently added black people, sorry We removed them and added a bunch of redheads. Our bad, absolutely no black people will be in this movie"
