I'm on Verdy, in the Smallings' room, and according to the walkthroughs I'm supposed to wait for a leaping goldfish to leap onto the pavement so I can pick it up. But after a long time of experimenting, this never happens for me. Anyone know if there's some way to trigger this or an alternate solution to the puzzle? Worst case, I'm gonna hex edit the goldfish into my inventory so I can finish the game.
Edit: Okay, so it seems I had to speak with the gibberish boy in the mirror room properly before the smallings would say anything substantial, and only then will the goldfish land on the walkway.
