So I am playing the Butcher Bay part and no matter what I do I get a screen tear from the top left corner to the bottom right corner anytime I turn or look around.

I put vsync on in the Nvidia control panel and off in the game, tried the opposite too and nothing seems to work.

The only thing that seems to work is having vsync off completely but then its running at 400+ fps and that cant be good for my gpu

Im on a HP Pavilion 15

i5 7300HQ 2.6ghz
gtx 1050 4gb
8gb ram
win 10

Would be really good to have some program with wich to cap framerate with as this is a problem in several games.
If turning vsync off is, strangely, solving it for you but you don't want it running at a ridiculous framerate, you could try using Nvidia Profile Inspector to add a framerate limit to the profile for that game.
