Hey hey folks.

I missed this game, and thought I'd reinstall it. It all went well for an hour, but then the sound started to get super staticy when sounds are playing, and I just can't play it like this. Is there some fix for this I can do on my own? Or is the game still getting patches from gog? >_> I really wanna revisit one of my favorite games.

Basically the static started at butcher bay, after the intro walk into it. It also spills over to the dev commentary, and it sounds just awful. Win 10 here, and im on headphones with no surround.

A tiny update: So I'm trying the game again, and this time there's no sound issues... which is just as troubling. What changed between this session and the other? Will it randomly return again? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Update 2: Now its both staticy and has sped up voices. Real freaking great. >_> I'm thinking it's a bug with the refresh rate setting in-game, which is very buggy.

Update 3: The sound issues went away after a PC restart. I'm sure they'll return eventually, though. D:
