I played trough Escape from Butchters Bay just fine. Only in the final cutscene did the game crash.

Now in the cutscene after the tutorial of Assault on Dark Athena the PC crashes every time at exactly the same point during the cutscene.

I already tried to reinstall the game or run it in window mode. Didn't help. I am playing on Windows 7 with the Catalyst version 14.4 .

If nothing helps, you could try skipping the cutscene by renaming the corresponding file in the game's installation folder (look into \Content\Videos). You can still watch it there with a media player that's able to handle ogg files (e.g. VLC) or on YouTube.

One question, you tried to download again the installer? Maybe, could be a problem from the installer.

Have a look at this page, it may have something to do with your codecs or sound acceleration. While on the page does not list crashes as a problem but only "bad quality, no image, no sound", do try the workarounds listed there and report back!
