I want my PC games to feel like PC games. It's okay if they have console versions or were even on the console first, but that's no excuse for them to feel and play like a console game.

so my question is, does this feel like a PC game or a console game?

I just finished both games last night, so I think I can comment. IMO there are two major areas where the game feels kinda consoley - 1) weapon selection; to select a weapon, have to press a key and then pick one from a wheel using the mouse; can only map 2 weapons directly to keys, which is a pain at various times; 2) mouse sensitivity - at least for me, the mouse aiming always felt floaty and imprecise. Trying to line up headshots and the like at a distance or shooting accurately on the fly were pretty much impossible. That, and the fact that bullets travel at an artificially reduced speed, allowing distant targets to "dodge", is one of the main reasons the stealth part of these games is so preferred over the shooting, IMO.

Still, in terms of graphics options and such, this game very much seems like a PC game. Of course, lots of options don't seem to work right for a lot of people - for instance, my refresh rate keeps reverting to 29hz, and decals keeps getting reset to off between play sessions.

Despite all that, these are both awesome games (Athena included). Heartily recommended.
