I haven't got this to run on my Windows 11 (i5-11400H 3050RTX) I don't remember all the different things I've tried, it's been a few times I've tried reinstalling over months/maybe year(s) at this point, probably a bunch of usual nonsense like different compatibility settings, the popular placebo "limit CPU cores or affinity" stuff which never has worked for me in any title, tried different exe files as i've found that can be tricky, also I remember testing DXVK with the DirectX renderer set in the Environment cfg.

So, anyone out there who happens to own this and got it working on Win11?

(PS, a copy of the OG 2004 version, Butchers Bay, works flawlessly, but I kind of like Dark Athena, decent expansion I wanted to replay)

Did one of the recent Galaxy updates break launching the game through Galaxy? Today I launched Galaxy for the first time in a long while, played a bit of Dark Athena, and exited the game. Galaxy asked to be updated, and I said sure, why not. Afterwards, Dark Athena crashed every time with some "could not find debugfont" error when launching through the client. But launching from the folder using the shortcut you gave above works just fine.
