I noticed that when you enable Ambient Occlusion, Antialiasing gest automatically set to "off" so its not possible to have both at the same time. Has anyone experimented with the settings in nVidia control panel, or compatability bits in nVidia Inspector?

Is it at all possible to get Ambietn Occlussion and FSAA at the same time?

I wll have to test if I see any diffference between AO enabled and disabled.
If you turn on fxaa in the Nvidia control panel you should be able to play the game with AO with FXAA on.

I usually turn off AO in games though because it impacts performance.

My suggestion would be to turn AA on and leave AO off. AA will do more to make the game look better than AO will.
Yeah, AO looks nice on screenshots, but in game it sort of "shimmers". It's hard to describe, bit this additional shadowing effect is not static, but it changes when camera moves, which is especially visible while climbing ladder, for example. In the end I turned AO off.
Anyway to do this with an AMD card?
Yeah I have the same troubles. Trying to put it on 32x MXAA AND have AO isn't possible. It's a relief I'm not the only one.
I am usually not that fussy with AA but I am struggling to find a setting that looks OK and removes the awful AA flickering while moving.

Try injectSMAA (openGL version). It doesn't blur the image as much as FXAA.
