There are two objectives given in story mission 18: to kill (a person) and, separately, to defeat all enemies. This led me to believe that the mission could be cleared by beating everyone except (the person), and I planned accordingly.

What happened in my playthrough was that, eventually, the only opposition left was (the person) and one enemy healer. I hit the healer with a Bleed, the healer bled out on the start of their turn, and (the person) kept fighting for a couple of turns, so went ahead and killed them. I have this nagging suspicion, though, that I was supposed to not kill them somehow, in order to get the best ending, and that maybe by having the last other enemy die by Bleed on their turn I bypassed some condition check.

Could the devs please clarify whether this mission can be cleared by satisfying *either* condition, or must it be *both* of them? And might I recommend adding an "AND" or an "OR" to the objective display in this case.

Hi interleaper,

Yeah, it's mandatory. [Person] betrayed [the group name], and [other person] has strong believes about loyalty, so there's no way they were going to let [person] leave alive.
