Aye, I'm wondering too. Is there no coop mode in the gog version ? Would be nice to know before somebody buys it.

There is. Local coop, one person uses mouse and keyboard, the other a controller. PS4 controller does not work properly atm, xbox one recommended.

LOCAL CO-OP is already available in the game, so two players can become the Bergsons and fight the Corruption together. ONLINE CO-OP is still in development and will be released in a future update.

I can't manage to get local co-op to work.
Would anyone know how to start a 2-player game?

I have a PS4 controller, which works well for one player. When I use it, the keyboard/mouse stop working (I tried wired and wireless ones).
When no controller is connected, keyboard and mouse work for one player.
Do I need 2 controllers?

Playing on macOS 10.15.7...

Gave it another go today.

You have to play and complete the tutorial first, just 1 player. The game actually starts after, when it lets you select the first dungeon. Then you can press start on the controller to get the 2nd player in.

According to the roadmap for 2021 linked in the store page description, online co-op is called The Fellowship Sanctuary and will be implemented at a later date.
