Hi, I just wanted to say this is a great demo you have so far. It looks like it's shaping up to be a pretty solid port, but I do have some criticisms I'd like to share.
Title demo playback
Is the remaster in an accurate enough state to the original game that it would be compatible with the original game's demos? I feel like that would be a great addition that would make the game feel much more lively on startup.
Software renderer
One of Chasm's defining features is its unique software rendered appearance. There doesn't seem to be any option for it right now, so it just looks a bit off. This combined with the full-pitch mouse look makes the game play significantly different from its DOS counterpart. Also the automap colors seem to be off compared to the original.
Multiplayer
This is a severely overlooked part of Chasm I really hope gets implemented in the full version. Chasm The Rift's multiplayer is a blast to play, and I'd love to see that implemented in this remaster.
