I get a crash as soon as i start to play the game on win 7 64 bit. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Need more info, like hardware specs, background apps, etc.

I am using a windows 7 premium 64 bit laptop. it has an AMD Sempron 2.10 ghz with 4 gigabytes of system ram It used a ATI 4200 HD video chip with 366 mb of ram on board shared with system ram up to 1.6 gigs for video.

i run a very scaled down system services wise so I can be sure to get all the 1.3 extra gigs of shared memory for video games. Heck I can play Crysis on this thing on medium settings. Games like Fallout New Vegas are no problem.

I have updated Chaser to 1.50

Edit: I just reinstalled without the 1.50 update and i still get the same error./crash as soon as it tryed to start.

Have you tried altering the game's compatibility settings or setting the "run as admin" option?
Of course I have tried both of those.
I'm running the game on the W7 64 and it is working very well, what i did was making it compatible with Wxp sp3 enable the "disable visual effects" on the compatibility options and also tick the "run as admin" option.

I'm amazed by the amount of Win7 problems running a game threads.
I'm using Linux and running the game with Wine, and it runs 100% without any problems.
I think it's the user that have trouble not Windows ;) I run every freaking game here on Windows 7 without any problems. So think that Windows isn't the problem but the users are ;)
