I have win7 and I have these problems. Does anyone have them too?
I have another version of the game (a pirated one) and It woks perfectly

Send a ticket to support. A number of graphical and other glitches seem to have slipped through, and it's best to let the support team know about them directly.

I have winXP and also have these problems. I sent a support ticket to GOG so hopefully they'll get on it. As you point out, hitting the Search button should popup a SEARCH:SITES panel but instead it just opens the RANKINGS panel. That's 1.0 behavior.

Yup, I just tried copying over my old v. 1.1 installer into the GOG folder, and 'search' works properly now, plus the building icons are displaying properly on the map. Though it appears to have re-broken the intro cinematic.

Hopefully GOG can just apply the patch and get this fixed up quick; if not, I'll see if I can upload the patched .exe somewhere as a temporary solution.
