Does Chaos Overlords have LAN support for its multiplayer?

From the manual:
"Selecting a Multi-Player protocol
For Windows 95
Winsock - Allows you to play over the internet or a network using TCP/IP.
Modem - Allows you to play through a modem connection.
Direct connect - Allows you to play through a serial connection."

Been a long time since I used dial-up or a direct serial connection, I may have an old cable stashed somewhere so perhaps I can make that option work.
Fortunately Chaos Overlords also supports hotseat multiplayer so there is something to fall back on if all else fails. -_^
