Hi all,
I have been following the only (basic) guide and have and have finally reached Castle Thiris.
This is the abandoned castle that you must fly up to gain access.
I am meant to obtain a scroll by digging, as the floor is planked it indicates I must go down to a lower a level.
There is a "door" (It doesn't show it though) which is locked.

The spell 'Open Door' and the lockpicks don't work on this 'door' so I am totally stuck as to what to do, can anyone help?

Thanks for the reply mate, much appreciated.
The USA bloke on You Tube on his part 29 goes right upto his time to travel to Castle Thiris and then it ends and he hasn't yet made a part 30 sadly :(

I did get bored of insanely right-clicking on the floor boards with a shovel (once I realised there is only one floor level in the castle having finally got the door/drawbridge open) so went to the nearest town of Thornkeep, and after speaking to the priest went to Arinor to speak to the magician, having now got the castle plans I've been back at it since yesterday, but each time I try to locate the Scrolls (about 3 hours of real-time right-clicking with the shovel) it fails, so I'm still well and truly stuck.

One walkthrough states

Cast the Fly spell and enter the castle through the hole in
the roof. Walk 6 paces north of the statue in the entry hall
and use the shovel to dig up the scrolls of Shamar. It is not
easy to find, so just keep trying 'till you hit the right spot.
