I am trying to use an Xbox 360 controller (licensed third-party, not Microsoft) with the game, but it doesn't seem to work. I can use the A button at the first menu when it says "Press any key", but after that only the analog stick is recognized and none of the menus will allow me to use the buttons.

Has anyone tried using an Xbox 360 controller with this game, and does it work?

I played through the whole game with an XBox360 controller with no problems except maybe that the analog stick detection didn't really work so well (often had to press a direction multiple times before the cursor moved up/down).

At now the Xbox360 ctrlr works good with the game.

I've been using a XBOne controller and the d-pad is fucked up. UP is right, DOWN is left and LEFT and RIGHT do nothing at all... I really hope they fix this because I always use the d-pad in menus, and it's been a pain having to adjust.

Having the same exact issue as OP... given the last reply date I'm guessing this hasn't been fixed? Really disappointing.

Chinese copies are bad, use an official Microsoft controller. At least, the old Xbox360 works good.
