Got three of all the other weapons, expect for the spear, and so figured I'd ask here if anyone's found it? Oh, the third Axe is found in the War Camp, but only for a limited time, it's in one of the commander's tents(Can't remember which, the one at the bottom of the camp and to the left) which only opens after the scene with the three generals giving a speech on the plains, but before you finish the ruined city. Oh, and one of the other weapons is found in the ruined city after everyone's pulled out.
Hey Star_Sage,

We're very sorry to tell you: the third spear, Trident, is unobtainable in the current GOG version. We did a stupid mistake and it got replaced by a crystal, so the weapon doesn't exist in the game :|

We've patched this on Steam, but not to GOG yet as uploading takes a lot of time.

On that patch we also changed the Seneschal's tent prerequisites. Instead of being available for a very limited time, players will be able to enter it any time after the army marched out of the war camp and before the Tortured Ender fight. This will make it less punishing for people who missed it :)
Bah, making things easier. Back in my day, he game gave you the time between two scene to trek back through the entire game to get that one item that would finish your set. Actually, I do remember that, but can't remember the game. It was a PS2 one though...maybe Tales of the Abyss? I know Star Ocean 2 did something similar with it's Bonus Dungeon.

Oh, and neat, the makers of the games look at these forums. So that means I can do a 'suggestion for future games' topic. Later.
You can't really miss the bonus dungeon in Star Ocean 2, though. It's open whenever you have at least once saved right in front of the final boss.
Better example would be most of the summoning materia in FFVII. If you don't find them right away, you usually can't get back to where they were.

Btw, there was a patch today, did that add the Trident? It's not in the patchnotes it seems.

The Trident has been added, it should be in the War Camp at Whiterock Hills. But it's only there when the army is, meaning you can't get it past a certain point when the army has left.

I know what you mean Star_Sage. I think there are a lot of games 'back in our days' that do missable stuffs -- I'm personally in a love/hate relationship with Suikoden's 108 stars for this matter. Still... the players of our days and the current days are a bit different. We had to do some compromises :)
