I've been playing Caves of Qud for a few years now, and enjoy it quite a bit, thank you for making such
a marvelous game <3

With the latest UI overhaul and much more installed, is it now possible to get at least some kind of
playthrough done? I am only now considering trying it, and it's always nice to get a game playthrough done,
once in a while :D Not saying it's going to be easy, but I'd just like to know if you can now.

Not yet. Quoting the developer here:

"What’s Next?
We are getting even closer to 1.0! We have two main objectives for the rest of the year: finish the main quest and create a more hands-on tutorial. Until then, you can still weekly updates to resume 1.0 launch at the end of the year."

Don't let this stop you, though. CoQ is an amazing experience, and now is a great time to get started with it, just after the Spring Molting update.

It is a wonderful game, though a bit overwhelming at times.
I am at level 15 now, still alive, and game is throwing weird stuff at me, but I like it.
(as long as I can use the "load from checkpoints" system, otherwise it is too brutal for me lol)
