I'm interested in playing this game, but I've never heard about this game before I enter gog.com, so curious how fun it is.
So I'd like to ask you, what kind of game it is. Anyway it will be much easier for me to understand, if you pick up some similar other games.
If you don't mind, please let me know about that. Thanks.

Well.. Lords of the Realm I & II, and Medieval: Total War, are a similar theme (build castles to help control regions to win the game), but they're turn based, not real time like these Castle games. These are really the only thing I can think of that is in anyway similar.
Nothing comes to mind that is exactly the same. There's even some difference between Castles and Castles II, enough to make the play style pretty different.
