Hello,

I have Carmageddon 2 with nGlide, but nGlide is seems to unstable for me. In my old version there is no frame drop with another glide emulator, glide wrapper. Now when I open the map, fps drops, but this is not a big problem. The problem is the fps is always very low in the original Carmageddon 2, the modded Carmageddon 2 works very bad 5 fps. Is there are any way to delete nGlide?
Try the newest nglide 1.03.

Go to the folder where you installed the game. Delete the nglide configurator, read me files and the 3dfx glide and splash screen dll files. The dll files are:

3DfxSpl.dll
3DfxSpl2.dll
3DfxSpl3.dll
glide.dll
glide2x.dll
glide3x.dll

I don't know if the GOG version comes with all of those. I think it might only need the 2x files for Carmageddon 2.

Anyway, once you've removed those then nglide is removed from the game. You can then download a different 3DFX emulator (such as dgVoodoo) and apply that to the game.

Thanks, that solved the problem. But I no longer need this method (just for my old computer), since I got another computer, and only Nglide works fine on this computer.
