Hi!

I'm kinda new to this but I was really happy to see that I would be able to play this game again.
I've done a lot of reading on this forum but I can't seem to find an answer for my problem.
I've also installed the path provided in this forum.
The only version that seems to work right for me is the hardware version in W7.
The graphics seem a lot sharper then the older version from way back.
The problem is that the image is stretched a bit, this is annoying.
I wouldnt mind having black bars on the side as long as there is no stretching.
What is the best way to get rid of this?

I will conduct you to the thread which explains to replace nGlide with a newer version, after that run nGlide configurator and select keep 4:3 ratio.

there must be some sort of settings that lead to c# stretch images

The Glide that comes with the game allows you to put 4:3 to avoid stretching. just need to search for it in the Start menu- gog- and carmageddon 2
