In the game, yes :)
Will the soundtrack be ever made available as a separate download :) ?

It has Iron Maiden in the game so no, I don't think so :(

Besides, I think most of those Iron Maiden songs are available on most of their albums anyways :)

Understandable given how expensive it would probably be to license those songs for seperate download. :P
I have a question too. Now, this might generate some hate (hopefully not), but is there some way to add custom music in the game? Nothing wrong with Iron Maiden per se, but those four songs are getting real tiresome and I haven't even got to Group 3 yet. And...to be honest, Carma One's Fear Factory seems to suit this game much, much better than, let's be honest, the in-retrospect pretty radio-friendly Maiden. The game is brutal: the music should be too. I would like to add custom tracks that accomplish this, but is there any way to do that besides muting the music ingame, and launch Winamp and play songs while running the game?

As the music is played from OGG files, couldn't you just replace them with OGG files of your desired in-game music?

Uh-huh, that appears to be the case. So at the very least, I could grab the music I want, and rename them "Track02, 03," etc. It should work in theory. I'm gonna try this later. Thanks for the heads up.
I just installed and tested Carmageddon 2. This post says there is Iron Maiden songs on the soundtrack but not for me. Did I do something wrong or are they removed from installation?

GOG Games\Carmageddon 2 Carpocalypse Now\music
Track05 to Track08 are Iron Maiden ones but I think first three track of other music without vocal are better than commercial music.
GOG version can play music but they are chosen randomly in the game. In main menu you car shuffle them manualy each time you set off and on music, also tapping S second time during race.
