Hi,

On both Carma and Splat Pack GOG versions I don't seem to be able to upgrade my Armour, Power or Offensive past Level 2 in the parts shop. Every time I visit the parts shop, I try to cycle to the next level of upgrade but it only shows Levels 1 or 2. Is this rank-restricted or am I missing something obvious?

I'm running both games using the Windows 95 patch.

Thanks!

What rank are you? I wondered this too until I received a few ranks. IIRC, somewhere around 84-79 you get the next level upgrades so if you are too low in rank you won't see them.
It is rank-restricted. If you go further in the game, more powerful stuff will be available to purchase.
Cool, that makes sense - I'm at 79 right now I think, I'll report back once I've gained a few more ranks. :)
Relieving this topic back from the ashes. I think the current rule for ranking and getting better parts is as following.

Rank to APO upgrades:
75 = level 3
50 = level 4
25 = level 5.

I'd see and confirm if the same rule applies to the Splatpack soon.

Beatiting the game gives you the ability to purchase "cheat" level 6 at really low price.
