So, I've played the game all the way through once. Overall, it is a really good game. The graphics are wonderful. The game mechanics are mostly pretty good. The hugest issue is with what the devs call the "auxillaries". They are steeds and slaves/helpers. When one of your people fights, the devs kill off one of these human auxillaries first, before injuring your character. You have no chance to heal the auxillary. They just keel-over dead. Mind you, if you have to buy them, they cost nearly as much as a donkey at 200 Drachma a person. If you happen to help someone who wants to join you, they are free; if you free a slave from a slave trader, they are 100 Drachma. Regardless, one fight can suddenly cost you 3-4 of these people, although your person would have been barely scratched.
Back to the compliments: I really like the trading system. The game is a little short, but that may have been my fault. I'm sure I could have drug it out more. I wrote somewhere else that the money was plentiful - that was before I had to start leveling up multiple companions and myself at higher levels. Consider allowing us to sell steeds, rather than simply releasing them.
Overall, great job. Great game concept.
