I was just wondering if gog offers a demo of the game? Or if anyone knows a place to find the demo? It certain seems interesting and would be right up my alley - I'd just like to try a demo (Or at least watch a Let's Play video =p) Before I buy it.

Also, Cap 1 or 2, which has the most single player options/customization?

GOG doesn't offer demos because they can't guarantee they will run on modern OSs. However, here are two links.
This seems to be a demo for Capitalism (of which CapPlus is an extended edition).
For Capitalism 2, I've found a supposed demo here.

Personally, I've found that CaPlus allows for more customization (for example, there are three ranges of goods to choose from when setting up the game), but you can do a huge amount of things in both games; in that, there are not that many differences between them.
