Hi,

I know similar issues has been raised before, but i just checked at Enlights website. Their selling Cap II for $19.99 and the required HD space is 700mb..

So what's up with the GOG-version? Does anybody know? It can't be that well compressed?

No redbook audio.

I sent GoG an E-mail. I'm not likely to get a response soon.

The numbers you see on there are just the minimum system requirements. Not how much room it will take. It's actually a lot smaller than that on the disc and it has the music on the disc as well. If this game doesn't have music then it'll still be a lot smaller.
Weird that gog doesn't have the soundtrack available. I have the CD version of Cap 2, and it definitely has music.

Regrettably, I also have Cap Plus on CD, but it's the softkey/supersaver version which is missing the redbook audio for some reason.

700 meg file size for the other site means they're probably selling you an iso of the game, essentially. Or a cab file that amounts to the same thing.

It's probably a licensing/usage rights thing.
