I just purchased Cap 2 from Gog a few days ago and realized that Cap Lab had been released by the developer. Since Cap Lab is touted as an expansion of 2, does anyone know if 2 is required to be installed to play Lab? If so, will the Lab download from the developer work with the 2 install from Gog?

I tried searching both sites, but I haven't come up with a definitive answer. Thanks in advance.

It is a separate game with terrible in-house always online DRM. I simply don't trust a niche obscure developer to keep the game available. Not to mention that I've become accustomed to the convenience of Steam and GOG.
That said, the game has really nice additions, besides the DRM :)
