Hi all, is there any way to change the settings so that you can simply left or right click and have my unit move to where i've clicked as in Civ?

Which civ game are you talking about? The movement in this is just like civ4 with the mouse. Click the guy you want, hold the mouse button down and drag it to where you want to guy to move. It should show a line with numbers which are the how many turns to move that distance.

In CIV you don't need to hold the mouse button down and drag, there's an option to select unit then hold the mouse button down on desired destination much better if you're using a mouse pad on a laptop....
