Whenever I try to play CtpII the game just causes screen flashes the whole time, in a very similar manner to how dungeon keeper 2 used to until GoG fixed it. I've tried updating my graphics drivers, installing the June '10 direct x and using compatibility and run as administrator, but nothing seems to fix it.

Does anyone have any further ideas?

+1 Same here. So irritating you can't play it in fear of developing epilepsy...

Yup, same here. Win7 32 bit. Screen randomly flickers making it unplayable.

Try disabling desktop composition to see if that does the trick.
It's in the compatibility tab of the shortcut of the game.

Having this same issue and apparently can't find a solution. Anyone here managed to fix this?

Hey guys if anyone is still looking for a way to fix this issue I found a way that works for me. Aployton has been working with the source code and has a package which basicly patches you game. You just download the file and copy it overwriting everything it wants to. I had the same screen flicker but this seems to have cleared that up. Hope it helps you guys as well.

I too have the screen flashing issue. I downloaded the linked file here and it did fix the screen flashing but now i have no sound.
